📝 Important Notes
- •Personal-use entry is limited: Ordinary travellers have a duty-free allowance of 2 devices plus 6 pods/disposables with no more than 12ml liquid in total.
- •Other traveller categories: Hong Kong/Macao travellers: 1 device plus 3 pods/disposables, liquid total ≤6ml. Frequent short-term travellers: 1 device plus 1 pod/disposable, ≤2ml. Counts and liquid volume must both fit the applicable allowance.
- •Labels and age: Products without a liquid-volume label cannot enter. Travellers under 16 cannot bring e-cigarettes into China.
- •Above the allowance: Declare to Customs. Extra quantities accepted as personal use are taxed; the taxable extra quantity and volume cannot exceed the applicable duty-free limits. An indivisible item is taxed in full. Approval is not automatic.
- •Packing: Airport liquid screening limits do not increase these customs allowances. Check your airline’s battery and liquid rules separately. These allowances cover the specified pods/disposables, not an automatic allowance for a large refill bottle.
❓ More Questions
Can I bring six pods of any size?
No. For ordinary travellers, six pods/disposables must also contain no more than 12ml in total. Lower limits apply to Hong Kong/Macao and frequent short-term travellers.
Does a 100ml airport liquid limit mean I can bring 100ml duty-free?
No. Security screening and customs entry limits are separate. Use the applicable pod count and combined liquid allowance, not the airport container limit.
